UPAFA

The game

Tackle and flag

UPAFA governs both disciplines in Uttar Pradesh. The registration, the district, and the certificate are the same pathway — the rules on the field are not.

Contact. Pads and a helmet.

The ball moves by running and passing, and a play ends when the carrier is tackled, steps out, or scores. Clubs field tackle teams through their district association.
